JB leads Finance, Accounting, and Capital Markets at Zippy.

JB has 20 years of strategic finance, real estate, investment management, and manufactured housing experience spanning from elite Wall Street establishments to nascent high-growth startups.

Most recently, JB served as CFO of Casata, a real estate development firm focused on building manufactured home rental communities. Previously, he spent 7 years as a finance leader at Amherst, a multi-billion-dollar real estate investment company, in progressively strategic roles with responsibilities that included managing the firm’s corporate development, debt capital markets, fund performance, and investor relations functions. JB’s background also includes roles at Bear Stearns, Highland Capital Management, and KPMG Corporate Finance.

Through these roles, JB gained experience in originating, structuring, and executing complex debt and equity financings as well as overseeing the entire spectrum of financial operations, including FP&A, accounting, treasury, capital markets, and investor relations.

JB earned an MBA with a concentration in Private Equity Finance and Investment Management from The University of Texas at Austin, and a BBA in Finance from Baylor University.
