Cassidy Christie

Cassidy is the Vice President of People at Zippy, where she leads the full People function, including Talent Acquisition, People Operations, HR Business Partnership, Culture, Engagement, and Organizational Development. She partners closely with the executive team to ensure Zippy’s people strategy, organizational goals, and culture work in harmony to support high performance and an exceptional employee experience. Prior to stepping into this role, Cassidy served as Zippy’s Chief of Staff, a position that deepened her cross-functional expertise and strengthened her ability to design and implement scalable, people-centered processes. Known for her blend of operational rigor and human-centered leadership, Cassidy oversees the employee lifecycle end-to-end — from hiring and onboarding to performance management, leadership development, and compensation — creating an environment where employees feel valued, supported, and equipped to do their best work.

Cassidy has spent more than a decade in the startup world supporting executives, teams, and company-wide initiatives. She began her career with Berglass + Associates, a boutique headhunting firm in the fashion industry. She later supported C-suite executives at multiple early-stage startups, most notably Casper, the D2C sleep company, and Orchard, a real estate technology company. At Casper, she played a central role in supporting the leadership team through their IPO, gaining firsthand experience in scaling people processes within high-growth environments.
Cassidy holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Roanoke College.
