Brandon Osmon
Head of Capital Markets & Risk
Brandon is responsible for Loan Funding, Loan Marketing and Portfolio Management at Zippy.
Prior to joining Zippy, Brandon was a Senior Managing Director at Hayman Capital Management.
Brandon started with Hayman in 2007 and was responsible for the structured products portfolio, trading, risk management, interest rate and currency strategies as well as investments in the financial sector. Additionally, Brandon was Co-Portfolio Manager of the Hayman Mortgage Credit Fund which invested in residential mortgage-backed securities.
Brandon also served as a Director for National Mortgage Insurance Corporation (“National MI”) from its inception in July 2012 through May 2016. During this time, National MI successfully grew from a start-up to a profitable mortgage insurance business and Brandon assisted with taking the company public in 2013.
Before joining Hayman, Brandon was a Senior Vice President – Structured Finance at Countrywide and was responsible for the company’s secured lines of credit, asset-backed commercial paper programs and repo agreements.
Brandon earned his B.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin in 1999.
