Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ): Notice of Servicing Transfer
Previous Servicer: Triad Financial Services
New Servicer: Zippy LLC
Effective Date of Transfer: 5/7/2025
1. Why did I receive a Notice of Servicing Transfer?
Federal law requires that we notify you whenever the servicing of your loan is transferred to a new company. “Servicing” means managing your loan — collecting payments, managing escrow accounts, handling customer service, and addressing any issues with your loan. The notice you have received was to inform you that Triad will no longer be servicing your loan. Effective 5/7/2025, Zippy will be servicing your loan.
2. What is changing?
The company that manages your loan (referred to as the "servicer") is changing. Your loan terms — such as your interest rate, monthly payment amount, and maturity date — remain the same. Only the company you work with to make your payments and manage your loan is changing.
3. Do I need to take any immediate action?
Yes. Beginning 5/7/2025, you will have the ability to register for Zippy’s new online portal at www.zippymh.com/pay, which will give you access to various ways to make payments.
- Your account number will not change – please use your previous account number with Triad to register
- Once registered, you will be able to make payment in the following ways:
- ACH Checking/Savings Account (free of charge)
- MC/Visa Debit (convenience fee applies)
- Paypay, Venmo, Applepay, GooglePay (convenience fee applies)
- You can also call our Customer Service line for assistance or walk-in payments to a Walmart Financial Center.
4. Will this affect the terms of my loan?
No. A servicing transfer does not change the terms or conditions of your loan. Your interest rate, loan balance, payment schedule, and any escrow arrangements remain the same. Zippy will also handle the payment of tax and insurance through our escrow process.
5. When should I start sending payments to the new servicer?
Please begin sending payments to Zippy as of the “effective date of transfer” listed in your Notice, which is 5/7/2025.
Any payments sent to the previous servicer after that date may be forwarded, but it could cause delays. It’s best to update your payment method promptly.
6. I already sent a payment to my old servicer — what happens now?
If you recently sent a payment to the prior servicer, don't worry. Your payment will be automatically forwarded to the Zippy during the 60-day grace period after the transfer date. No late fees will be assessed during this time if payments are misdirected.
7. Will my automatic payment (ACH) or online bill pay continue?
No. If you had automatic payments set up with Triad, you’ll need to set up new automatic payments with Zippy.
Please contact Zippy soon as possible to re-establish your auto-draft or online payment settings. You will need to register for Zippy’s payment portal to establish auto-draft payments.
8. Where do I send payments now?
